The Newcomer award is our way of honouring bold young designers. Every year, we choose a winner whose idea we think deserves to become reality \u2013 and a part of our range. For us at Materia, it is an opportunity to bring a little playfulness into our range, while at the same time giving young designers an international platform to reach out and create a name for themselves in an extremely competitive industry.
