Poul Christiansen graduated in architecture from the Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1973. Boris Berlin, born in 1953, trained in industrial design at the Institute for Craft and Design in Leningrad in 1975. Together they make up KOMPLOT Design, founded in 1987. KOMPLOT Design Studio is located in Copenhagen and works primarily with furniture design and industrial & graphic design. The work of KOMPLOT Design has been recognized and awarded prizes by the Danish Art Foundation and received both Scandinavian and international awards, including Den Danske Designpris (Denmark), Red Dot Award (Germany), IBD First Prize (USA) and G-Mark (Japan). Their products are included in the permanent design collections of several museums, including MoMA in New York.
