Autumn is here, and brings many exciting new products from Materia. Both big and small. All with the care and attention that is synonymous with Materia’s furniture. BON easy chair/footstool

An easy charir for those who love a comfortable and reclined sitting position. The easy chair’s soft interior, with its generous padding, ensures a high level of seating comfort, while the slightly tighter exterior creates a distinctive look. Bon easy chair is sleek, which makes it suitable for many different meeting spaces. Combine the easy chair with the Bon footstool, which can also function as an extra seat. The easy chair and footstool’s cushions are removable, making them easy to clean. Bon easy chair has a swivel base with return as well as a lockable tilt function. The footstool’s frame is fixed. The cross base is available in Colours by Materia (CbM*) powder coating.

COUTURE metal table

A small, discreet, and flexible table that can be used in several ways. It works just as well on its own as it does when combined with other coffee tables. In addition, placing several tables together in a stand transforms them into a practical and stylish room divider. When placed against a wall, it becomes a nice shelf. As standard, the table and frame are now available in Colours by Materia (CbM*) powder coating. Optional extras include a shelf in white pigmented ash, and a plant tray in galvanised steel plate.

DOMINO armchair

The short armrests give the armchair character, and provide the user with extra comfort. The armrests also make the chair easier to move around, and facilitate getting closer to the edge of the table. The anti-slip underside protects table tops when hanging. Material in FSC®-labelled wood, with the armrests and frame in solid ash, and the seat and back in veneered ash. You can choose between two surface treatment options: white pigmented or black stained ash. Just like the Domino chair, the Domino armchair is available with an upholstered seat, or with an upholstered seat and an upholstered inside backrest. Optional extras include connectors and sound absorbers. The Domino armchair is also great for stacking.

DOMINO table

The Ø900 mm round table is now also available in a height of 1100 mm, in addition to 730 mm and 900 mm. The new height is a complement to the bar stool, which is 780 mm high. The entire Domino range is made from FSC®-labelled wood, which means that it generates a minimal carbon footprint. The Ø900 mm table has pillars of solid ash, as well as tabletops of either solid rod-glued ash or veneered ash, available in either a white pigment or stained black. The decorative metal fastener under the table top, as well as the sand-cast iron foot, both in the Colours by Materia (CbM) dark grey powder coating. The tables are suitable for many different spaces, for example cafés, canteens, and break areas. The Domino table range also includes rectangular tables.

NEO LITE SOFT easy chair

An easy chair with softer seating comfort. A new feature is that it now has additional padding, which makes it even more comfortable. The fabric is sewn in a, for the product, specially designed quilted pattern that gives the easy chair its character and its own look. The lower seat height makes it suitable for lounge spaces such as receptions, entrances, and break areas. The easy chair’s frame is made of FSC®-labelled wood in white pigmented, or white or black stained ash and now also clear lacquered walnut. The metallic wire frame is available in chrome or Colours by Materia (CbM*) powder coating.

NEO LITE bar stool/chair & NEO LITE SOFT chair

The beautiful lines of Neo Lite and Neo Lite Soft create a comfortable bar stool/chair that looks interesting and active, no matter which direction you approach it from. Behind the clean, self-explanatory design lies a solid piece of workmanship. All of the details have been extensively tested and reviewed. Seat shell in Colours by Materia (CbM*). Available non-upholstered or with an upholstered seat, as well as fully upholstered. The Neo Lite Soft chair has a beautiful quilted pattern that has been specially designed for the product. The Neo Lite range’s frame is made of solid FSC®-labelled wood, available in either white pigmented or black stained ash. This autumn’s new feature is that the frame is now also available in walnut.

OAS modular sofa

The flexible modular sofa has been given more options. The 1-seater model can now be fitted with optional castors, and a lamp is available for the wide armrest. These new features make Oas an even more multifaceted, changeable, and functional piece of furniture. The option of easily moving for example a seat unit with a desktop means that you get a mobile workplace. The black lacquered lamp, which is turned on and off by pulling the lamp shade up and down, is practical, but also provides an elegant look.

RE-FOLD cushion

This new product is part of our unique sustainability mindset, where leftover fabric from our production is reused when designing a new product. Re-fold is made from leftover fabric in a darker shade at the back, as well as a decorative top edge at the front, combined with a lighter shade at the bottom of the front. This gives you a flexible cushion with dual looks, two-tone on one side and a uniform colour on the other. The padding is also made from recycled siliconised ball fibre. Choose between three sizes: 600 x 600 mm, 550 x 350 mm, and 450 x 450 mm, as well as selected colours from Colours by Materia (CbM*). The fabrics used in these unique cushions depend on which leftover fabrics are available on the day of production.

Relax for a moment. Do concentrated work in peace and quiet. Sit and chat while charging your computer or phone. These are some of the features of the multi- faceted Oas modular sofa.

Oas is a generous and flexible modular sofa that invites to creativity. This untraditional workplace has the characteristics of a traditional one, such as the tabletop for laptops, personal storage, and close to power outlets. The undulating, soft design is consistent throughout the series. When it comes to choice of materials and manufacturing methods, we are uncompromising. One of our goals is for all products containing wood to come from responsibly managed forests, certified according to FSC® (Forest Steward-ship Council). This time we have taken a further step towards our sustainability goals which is why the moulded polyurethane foam used is the REDcert2 certified PurFlex® Biomass Balance. This material helps reduce fossil consumption, while also reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

The modular sofa can be configured according to your needs, providing comfortable seating suitable for many different spaces, such as offices, receptions, and shopping malls. Oas also works as an exclusive lounge sofa for hotels and lobbies.

Neo Lite Soft is a creative take on Neo Lite. As the name suggests, Neo Lite Soft provides softer seating. The fabric is sewn in a, for the product, specially designed quilted pattern that gives character and a unique expression. The chair, with or without armrests, is ideal for longer periods of sitting comfortably in for example offices, hotels, meeting rooms, cafés and restaurants. The lower seating height of the easy chair makes it suitable for various lounge environments such as receptions, lobbies and break areas. FSC®-labelled wood frame in white pigmented alternatively white or black stained ash as well as several different metal frames in chrome and Colours by Materia (CbM*) powder coating present many options.

DOMINO bench + accessories for the chair

The Domino series is characterised by light organic shapes and an appealing character. The elegant series with chair and table is complemented by a bench in two lengths, tailored to the short and long rectangular Domino table. In addition, the chair gets linking devices and a sound-absorbent pad as accessories. The warm feel of the wood, the concealed fixings, and the oval shape of the legs contribute to its strong design. The series is made of FSC®-labelled wood, which means that it generates a minimal carbon footprint. The bench’s frame is solid wood, while the seat is made from veneer, white pigmented or black stained ash. The bench is available non-upholstered or with upholstered seat. Use the bench together with the Domino table and chair or use it as a solitaire.

Uni is a versatile table range suitable for both smaller and larger seating arrangements It is available with a spoke base or T foot in different sizes, heights and finishes. The table series’ many choices make it extremely flexible and suitable in various situations ranging from meeting rooms to cafeterias, mingle areas and lecture halls. Available as accessories are hooks for hanging bags or clothes. The tables with lengths 1400, 1600, 1800 and 2100 in height 900 and 1100 mm feature a foot rail. Table tops from FSC®-labelled wood in many finishes and frame in chrome or Colours by Materia (CbM*) powder coating.

AMBIENT beam sofa, table tops in white HPL laminate + armrest tables in white compact laminate

The Ambient beam sofa focuses on design and comfort. While sturdy, the design is neat, minimalistic and elegant. Ambient has many options, such as different beam lengths, several types of armrests, screens with or without magazine holders, and tables that provide a pleasant extra surface. The seat units can easily be replaced individually, if necessary. The table tops of solid white pigmented or black stained ash and HPL laminate white, as well as the wooden seat base, are FSC®-labelled. As a complement to the table tops with borders are magazine holders and a black plant tray. Armrest tables have compact laminate in white. The corner unit with its round table top can be mounted in five different fixed positions. Power outlets in the table top and a rail for floor mounting are available as accessories. The flexible Ambient beam sofa is suitable for lounge areas, coworking spaces, hospitals, schools, and universities.

Yarn is a unique and environmentally friendly armchair designed by Mia Cullin. Sustainability and the environmental impact have been central to the design and choice of materials. In Materia’s production, the back’s beautiful pattern is braided by hand using hemp strings.
