OAS

Oas is a generous and flexible modular sofa that invites to creativity. This untraditional workplace has the characteristics of a traditional one, such as the table top for laptops, personal storage, and being close to power outlets. The series includes straight and curved seating units, narrow and wide armrests, a writing tablet, an upholstered screen, different variants of connecting tables and a locker. As sustainability has been an important aspect of the design process, we have used PurFlex® Biomass Balance moulded polyurethane foam. This material helps reduce fossil consumption, while also reducing the carbon dioxide emissions of an OAS seat unit by about 80%. The articulating tablet mount of the writing tablet as well as the recessed box in the wide armrest are available powder coated in one of our carefully selected colours that are part of the Colors by Materia (CbM*) concept. The wood is FSC® labelled and comes in white pigmented or black stained ash. The 1-seater and the connecting table 90° can be fitted with castors, making it easy to move. The great versatility of the modular sofa means that it can be configured according to your wishes. The comfortable seating is suitable for many different spaces, such as offices, receptions, and shopping malls. Oas also works as an exclusive lounge sofa for hotels and lobbies.

Materials

The seat, wide armrest, connecting table 90 ° and 30° inner/outer and screen have a plywood frame. The back and narrow armrest have a steel frame. Padding for the seat, back and narrow armrest is PurFlex® Biomass Balance moulded polyurethane foam. Optional electrical connections in the front of the seat: 1x power or 1x USB A+C. The wide armrest, screen and connecting tables have padding of moulded PUR foam. The integrated table tops in the wide armrest and the connecting tables are available in white pigmented or black stained ash veneer. The wide armrest has the following options: plain table top, table top with recessed box, table top with lamp or table top with or without lamp and electrical fittings: 2x power or 1x power + 1x USB A+C. Variants for the connecting tables are: plain table top, table top with lamp or table top with or without lamp and electrical connections: 2x power alt. 1x power + 1x USB A+C. The 90° corner connecting table also has a planter in black ABS plastic. The writing tablet has a top of solid white pigmented or black stained ash with a rounded edge, while the articulating tablet mount is made of die-cast aluminium. The recessed box in the wide armrest and the writing tablet arm are powder coated in Colours by Materia (CbM*). Storage cabinet of veneered white pigmented or black stained ash with two separate compartments and doors, lockable with key or with the Flexlock locking system, which is controlled by card or tag. An adjustable foot of moulded black polyamide with or without the felt pad accessory is available for all parts. The 1-seater and connecting table corner 90° have castors in black as an option.
